Welcome to The Attic

One address. The whole group.

Booking seven hotel rooms means seven keys, seven bills, and a lobby where nobody actually talks. The Attic is the opposite of that — one big, beautifully finished home where your team, your family, or your whole reunion wakes up under the same roof and eats breakfast at the same table.

Built above a working flooring store in Sandusky and finished with reclaimed wood, brass, and a whole lot of local history, it’s an unassuming building hiding a genuinely special space. Guests tell us the same thing every time: they didn’t expect this.

  • Across the street from Cedar Point Sports Center
  • Two of everything — fridges, ovens, dishwashers
  • 500 sq ft arcade the kids never leave
  • Team vans welcome — room for 15+ vehicles
  • HD TV in every bedroom, plus a 75″ in the arcade
  • Hot tub open year-round and a wood-burning firepit

The Spaces

Six rooms your group will fight over.

Every square foot was designed around one question: what happens when twenty-eight people are here at once?

The Great Room

A stone fireplace, a sectional deep enough to lose people in, and sightlines straight through to the kitchen so nobody’s stuck cooking alone. When the whole group piles in after a day at the park, this is where they land.

A Kitchen Built for a Crowd

Two refrigerators. Two ovens. Two dishwashers. Two trash cans. It sounds like a joke until you’ve tried to feed twenty-eight people from one galley — then it sounds like the best amenity in the house. Caterers love the counter space; team parents love that nobody’s elbowing anybody.

The 500 sq ft Arcade

Vintage cabinets that actually work. Basketball shootout, shuffleboard, ping pong, and a 75-inch TV framed by Cavs 2016 Championship decor — with real stadium seating pulled up in front of it. More reviews mention this room than anything else in the house.

  • Vintage arcade cabinets

Two-Level Deck & Hot Tub

Upstairs: a propane grill and a long deck built for the dinner rush. Downstairs: a covered lounge, a wood-burning firepit, and a hot tub that stays open in January. It’s where the adults end up once the kids have taken over the arcade.

  • Year-round hot tub

Six Bedrooms, Three Upgraded Baths

Real beds — not air mattresses on a floor. Every bedroom has its own HD TV, proper linens, and enough hangers and storage that a four-night tournament stay doesn’t turn into a suitcase explosion. The baths were fully renovated with double vanities and walk-in showers.

  • HD TV in every room

Frequently Asked

Questions we get a lot.

How many people can actually sleep here comfortably?

Twenty-eight, in real beds. Six bedrooms cover 24 guests across queens, doubles, twins and three bunk sets, plus a pull-out sleeper in the living room and a futon in the side living room. Linens, towels, extra pillows and blankets are all provided.

How close is it really to Cedar Point?

Cedar Point Sports Center is directly across the street. Sports Force Park is a two-minute drive, and Cedar Point amusement park is about five minutes. Groups routinely shuttle back and forth during the day.

Can we host an event here without staying overnight?

Yes. We host baby showers, bridal showers, work dinners, church groups and similar gatherings on an hourly basis. Get in touch and we’ll put something together.

Where does everyone park?

In our own gated lot, with room for 15 or more vehicles. Team vans and trailers are no problem — you won’t be circling the block or paying for tournament parking.

Is the arcade included, or is it coin-operated?

Included and free to play, all of it. Vintage cabinets, basketball shootout, shuffleboard, ping pong and a 75″ TV with stadium seating pulled up in front.

Anything we should know about the building?

The Attic sits above a working flooring business, and there are train tracks nearby — a few guests notice train noise at night. Rooms facing east don’t have blackout shades. Neither has stopped anyone from rebooking, but we’d rather you hear it from us.

Do you allow pets?

No pets, unfortunately. There’s also no private yard space, so the deck and covered patio are the outdoor areas.
